A fully renovated tiny cabin nestled in a West Virginia meadow — just two hours from Washington, DC. Bring your dog. Leave your stress.
The Blue Fern Tiny Cabin sits on a quiet five-acre property near historic Wardensville, West Virginia — surrounded by ferns, old-growth evergreens, and wild rhododendrons. The main room was renovated top to bottom in 2023: restored pine floors, original beams, and hand-picked furnishings give it warmth without pretense. Lost River draws an open-minded, creative crowd from DC and beyond — it's that kind of place.
The bathroom is brand new with a tiled shower and in-unit washer/dryer. The wraparound porch — strung with lights and furnished for morning coffee or evening wine — is a favorite spot for guests.
